It has been a long time... this blog is so abandoned. But somehow needed somewhere to let out my thoughts and feelings.

In short, I am a lousy girl friend. Really lousy. Always expecting things but never able to carry them out myself. It is all about me, myself and I. I know it is wrong but I can't seem to snap out of it. I thought my current relationship will be better but it is starting to have shades of my previous relationships. It is hurting to the other party. I am starting to lose my temper more and more often. Not a good sign........

Something is wrong with me...

Woke up at abt really late in the afternoon. Was suppose to meet Kev at Bugis to do some shopping and dinner but I was too too tired.... so cancelled the meeting. Instead, went for a movie with JL, Junie, Na and her colleagues at Suntec City. And of cos we are watching Initial D!!! The movie I have been waiting since at least 6 mths ago!!

The movie was slated at 9.30pm and the all of us except Junie ate a hurried dinner at Sakae Sushi before we rushed to the theatre. Weren't really late but we were the last ones to get seated tho..... had to squeue thru to get our seats..... Junie wasn't there yet, she was still stuck in a cab wandering around near the Marina area cos roads to suntec were closed off due to the NDP rehearsal. She actually took a cab from orchard to go back to her house in Aljunied, after which the cab waited for her at her block to bring her to Suntec.... The cab driver realized suntec was closed off and stupidly drove her back to her house and after some directions by Frank, the driver somehow managed to land Junie in Marina South instead and so it was like this for another 30 mins before Junie finally got here. She was stuck in the cab for at least more than an hour, she refused to tell us her cab fare tho but I bet its at least $40! My heart ached for her!

Woke up at 6.30am in the morning and really dreading to go to work. Was really tired, the conseqence of sleeping 4-5hrs every day for the past 5 days. But I can't take MC again cos I just took one on tuesday....... So I dragged myself to work via cab and walked up to my boss and asked, "Can I take half day today?" And he said yes!!!! I could have kissed my beloved boss then. ^^

And then Sher turned around in her seat and declared that she is attached again. This time to an engineer who is 191cm tall!! I sort of expected it as she has been updating me regularly on her development with this guy. Heh... but she is really fast, her last breakup was only barely 2 mths ago. But she is Sher after all! Really glad for her and I can't wait to see her new 191cm tall guy.... damn, he is even taller than my fictional crush, Sendoh Akira!!

Laptops should really be banned from the face of this earth! My Fuijitsu laptop just died on me permanently after more than 3 yrs. I have reformated the laptop at least 10 times since I bought it..... and it finally died on me last week! The hard disk was physically spoilt n so all my data is gone! All my half-written stories, photos including my recent trips, company's offsite and graduation photos gone. I don't think I can even extract the data using an external drive...... life sucks.

And I am $1400 poorer now... bought an Acer desktop immed. Somehow, a day without internet makes me feel crippled. Its real cheap though...  $1400 for 17' LCD, 256MB DDRam, ATI Raedon 128MB graphics card, DVD/CD-rw, 80GB harddrive, 9in1 card reader complete with speakers and sub-woofers. Hmm... I thought its a great buy. ^^

But the best thing is I can now play Sims 2!!! Cool! Sims 2 is so much better than Sims 1, the graphics are so detailed and clear and the functions are better, and I can change all aspects of the facial details! Heh.... now I can bring my favourite anime characters to life. Hahahahaaa... so far, I have created a family of 6 from Slam Dunk and another family of 6 from Prince of Tennis. Having a field day now with all the cuties under my control... -evil smile-

My limbs are still aching from my tennis game with Shihui yesterday. Both of us sucks really..... spent most of the time picking up balls... And all my life in Bedok, I never realize that there are tennis courts near the Swimming Complex. But yeah, its cool... a mere 5min bus ride from my house. And yah, I must be pretty blur not to know the existence of the courts when they are so damn near my house.

Oh well, that's all for the day..... going to my fantasy world!

Oh!! For all my dear friends who are reading my blog, I lost 1.5kg over the weekend! ^^

Oh boy, the amount of work just piles up the min I got back to the office! Well, let me count..... I have been away from office since 22nd Apr. Was on 2 weeks' leave followed by another 2 days' MC. Heh heh... BUT my figures are not looking too good tho...... Im in the lower half and that sucks cos 1stly, I dun like the feeling and 2ndly, it means less money....

Heh... Dr J sms me yest and today, asking me out for dinner again. I think he is really really nice and sweet. I had been putting off the dinner date since since 2 mths back but yet he is like still so patient.

On the opposite, Ben is going kill me for putting off our dinner for such a long time.... Was supoose to meet him last Saturday for dinner but it slipped my mind!! And the moment I told him that, I had the feeling he was cursing me right that min. I think he is going make me pay for dinner the next time....damn.

Oh!! I discovered something tragic yest night. You see, I spent the last few days 'cheonging' the entire 165 episodes of the anime, Prince of Tennis and I finally finished them yest aftern... or so I thought. It was a happy ending. And then in the evening as I was surfing some torrent sites, I stumbled upon a torrent site that has the anime series all the way to the Episode 178!! Episode 178 was supposedly the last and guess what, I heard that it is a sad ending! It is quite a rude shock to me really..... I hate sad endings....  Well, I dun think anyone will understand though.

And to top it off, Mr PM finally passed Uncle Yong the Naruto DVDs..... BUT he did not sms me personally WHICH mean he is really not interested in me! So yeah, dear cyn... you are so wrong.... I guess I am not his type. Sighz....

Oh well, enough of my senseless rumblings today. Some other time!

Damn.... just finished playing mahjong and I turned out to the big loser of the night!! Only played 2 rounds and I lost $120!!! Should have never agreed to play.... And to top it off, I realized I left my organiser in my office and there is $600 cash stuck in between my organiser!! Im not even sure whether my organiser was left on my desk or in the safety of my locker.... so now despite being very tired, I have to go back to the office early in the morning.

And as if that is not enough, I have been receiving calls from Mr Shanghai on my hp n he even called my direct line in my office! Grhh.... I did not picked up tho. Life sucks on days like these.

Wanted to go cycling today but the weather was just so incredibly hot! I really need to lose the additional weight.... in fact, my goal this block leave is to lose 2kg and fit into a Levi's size 25 comfortably.... but I guess that's not going to happen. My days of wearing a 24 seems so long ago.... :'(

Decided to stay home then and get started on my new RPG games I bought from KL a few days ago. And guess what??? Both are not working!!!  $#!^&*$!#  Should never have trusted a 4 ringgit game.....

Wanted to go on a anime marathon (in case anyone's wondering, Im watching Prince of Tennis) but fell asleep in the cool comfort of my room.... well, I slept at 6am after all.

Woke up a few hours later to resume my anime marathon.... and I realized I have like 500 episodes of anime to watch (see below)... cool yeah? I dun think I need to go out for the 2 weeks till my next payday, Im really quite broke....
   
               

Met up with Na whom I last saw at Mel's wedding at abt 9.30pm. Gosh, it has been so long since i last spoke to her..... we used to talk every few days. But it seems much has happened during this 1 mth, she is kinda depressed over some issues. Tried to comfort her but dun think I did a good job though. But she is strong.... yeah, hope things will just blow over soon.

Well, Mr Give-me-the-creeps gave me a call... 2 calls to be exact while I was with Na. No idea it was him cos he called from a Pte number..... I hardly pick up Pte numbers though. He is pretty nice and decent though.... did some polite talk and told him to call back tml as Im w a fren. I think Im going to rename him Mr Shanghai, it seems more appropriate.

Hmm.... champs league has already started...... gtg now.

Been labeled a procrastinator for putting off my blog for such a long time. And I didn't even create this blog myself, my dearest Junie did it for me way back in Dec 2004! Im that moronic when it comes to IT. Well, since I am on block leave, I guess I shld really start now..

Met my colleague cum good friend, Sher at Orchard today. Seems like it's breakup season now. She decided to call her R/S off after just 5 mths due to time constraint.... her bf doesn't really have the time for her cos of his pilot training and she decided enough is enough... and so I played Aunt Aggy for the entire afternoon, dissecting her R/S bit by bit n explained why things turn out this way. Well, but she will survive..... she is one of the most optimistic n happy-go-luck gal I have ever met.... so yeah, i will give her another week to get over things.

Was at Cineleisure when something creepy happens. We were coming up the escalator, chatting along at the same time when this guy who was on his cell phone stared at me in a manner that only long-lost friends give one another. I caught him with just a glance and walked off. The next thing I knew, he caught up with us n asked "Are you Liping?". I was like "Yeah....... you are?".

"Im the guy at the Shanghai Airport last Tues.... you know the one standing behind your friends in the Express Q?"

And I suddenly remembered..... a group of us was stranded at the check-in Q at 3.40pm when our flight is at 3.50pm!! The thought of it makes me fume but that's another story.... And I remembered him cos he was directly behind my guy colleague and he was wearing this business suit complete with blazer etc. But I was completely baffled as to how he knew my name and so I asked......

"Oh.... you were holding onto your passport n your air tix was sticking out n I caught your name from there."

A bit creepy right? And it was like a week ago and I had my back facing him mostly and he was like 2 persons behind me.... You really never know who is watching you..... Oh well, nothing happened from there, just an exchange of namecards.

After some further bitching, we headed for Wheelock Place to collect some toys I bought last Thurs. After doing some finance calculations (really broke after coming back from 2 holidays), I decided to buy another set, exactly the same..... one's for keeping and the other's for display.... hee. In case anyone's wondering, I bought the Samurai X's Series 3 figurines... I waited for them since last dec!! But they are really worth the wait! Their poses are so cool! Check them out below....








Had a quick dinner at Mac's before rushing home to re-decorate or rather, re-arrange my collection of toys to accomodate the new ones... spent a long while wiping the dust and cleaning them... well, the consequence of neglecting them for so long.

Met my dearest Junie online and had some good chat.... shall not indugle in the details, its our secret. -evil smile-

PS: Chelsea got kicked out of Champs League. Ha ha! Couldn't have been happier....
